Say Goodbye to 2020 with these Three Delicious Cocktails featuring BORN ROSÉ

Do you already know what you’re gonna wish for at midnight? Hurry up ROSÉ Lover! The end of year’s getting closer quickly! At BORN ROSÉ we know that this year has been special and different. We’ve lived through a time that will go down in history, as well as some unique moments that we don’t want to forget. Love, laughter, toasts, our arrival in the Big Apple, and our excitement to see you all, ROSÉ Lovers, toasting all over the world… The arrival of our very own Canned ROSÉ, seeing our BRUT receive its organic certification and… our first gold medal! Because of this, and because of you, we want to end this year by toasting in the best way we know how to.

We’ve partnered up with Morten Krag, one of Denmark’s best mixologists and bartenders, to create three spectacular cocktails to toast the end of the year. What do you think? Are you going to try and whip them up at home?

BORN This Way

ROSÉ Lovers… Who fancies toasting to the last night of the year with a cocktail overflowing with color? Then make sure you pay close attention to the ingredients of BORN This Way!

To prepare it you will need:

  • 4.5 cl of dry gin infused with blue butterfly pea flower petals
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1.5 cl of homemade simple syrup
  • BORN ROSÉ Brut

Start by washing and drying the lemon. Peel it and set it to one side. Squeeze the lemon until you get at least 2.5 cl of juice. Meanwhile, start preparing the homemade simple syrup. It 's super easy! You just need to mix the sugar with the water in a saucepan on a low-to-medium heat. Leave it to cook for 10 minutes until it boils, while stirring it with a wooden spoon. And voilà!

Now it’s time to choose the glass you’re going to enjoy your BORN This Way in. Morten Krag, our guest mixologist, has gone for an elegant champagne flute, but you could also decide to prepare it in a different way.

Got your glass ready? Add 4.5 cl of dry gin, 2.5 cl of lemon juice, 1.5 cl of simple syrup and fill it up with chilled BORN ROSÉ Brut!

Add an extra special touch to your cocktail by squeezing the lemon peel over your beverage. It’ll give it an exceptional Mediterranean aroma.

Blossom ROSÉ Martini

Are you a die-hard gin fan? Then this spectacular BORN ROSÉ concoction is going to surprise you. A Blossom ROSÉ Martini that’s totally perfect for an extra-special sobremesa!

To make it you’ll need:

  • 6 cl of gin
  • 1 cl of BORN ROSÉ Brut
  • 1 cl of dry Vermut
  • 0.5 cl of cherry liquor

Making this delicious cocktail is easy. Pick out a tall Martini glass, and get ready to create the perfect beverage for ROSÉ lovers. It’s not just because of its color, but also because of the incredible Mediterranean and cherry nodes. Add all the ingredients together in your glass and lightly stir them. You’ll see the delicate Brut bubbles come up to say hello!

Roséretto

Are you dreaming about mixing your fave rum with ROSÉ Brut? Morten Krag has heard you and has made it a reality in the form of this Roséretto. Ready to enjoy it?

You’ll need:

  • 4 cl of rum
  • 2 cl of lemon juice
  • 1.5 cl of homemade simple syrup
  • 1 cl of Amaretto
  • BORN ROSÉ Brut
  • Maraschino cherries for decoration

If you’re in the mood to toast in style this New Year’s Eve, make a Roséretto. Add 4 cl of rum, feel free to use either black or white. Whichever you prefer! Drizzle lemon juice into your glass and add then the homemade simple syrup. To make it, heat up a cup of water, two cups of sugar, and a ¼ a cup of corn syrup, without bringing it to a boil. And you’re ready!

Add the Amaretto to your glass and top it off with BORN ROSÉ Brut. Do you want to add a little extra glamor? Grab some maraschino cherries to decorate it with. Now you only need to decide what to wish on!

Have you decided which cocktail you're going to toast with? Make a wish and enjoy the evening.

Happy 2021! ¡Salud!
