Route on a scooter. Destination: Go Beach Club

Every year I buy a ticket to a destination that I randomly select, after blindly pointing at a map... but this summer I've done just the opposite. This summer I’m staying in Barcelona. I want to enjoy the city at a leisurely pace, visit places that I still don’t know yet, soak up Barcelona in the summer and go on a few nearby getaways. (I keep forgetting about them!). So I’ll dip into the good old reliable Time Out Barcelona and I'll cross those pending visits off my list.

One of the things I most like to do in Barcelona is to change scenery within the city. In a matter of minutes you can enjoy different environments, different neighbourhoods full of charm, the mountains and views, the beach and its atmosphere and different beach club. That’s why a plan that I often repeat is spending the morning in the Gràcia neighbourhood, enjoying an aperitif, having a snack in a square and after lunch... go to the beach, and enjoy a perfect Canned Rosé Wine. But not to touch the sand but to smell the sea from the terrace of Go Beach Club.

Route of the Beach Club Barcelona

Start of the route: Plaza de Vila de Gràcia
Destination: Go Beach Club. Calle Port Esportiu, 14P
Duration of the route: 25 minutes

This route is a real delight on a scooter. From the square I go along the street Travesera de Gràcia until it connects with the beautiful Passeig de Sant Joan. I go along until I find the roundabout of the Mosén Jacint Verdaguer monument.

From here and to the left, I continue along Diagonal, I turn right into Castillejos street and at the height of the National Theatre of Catalonia, I turn left. In these streets you will have to zigzag until, at the Agbar Tower, you connect again with Diagonal. Go through this area of Poblenou, until Plaza de Levante and continue towards the left. You will soon see Port Nàutic and very close to the sea Go Beach Club.

Sunbed reserved and ready to take an all-time best swim. Great atmosphere, better music, a glass of BORN ROSÉ and the sea breeze for company. This summer I think I have the best plan. See you at the beach club!
