"Golden pink. Very slightly spicy, stone-fruit aromas. Plump with nectarine and ripe apricot fruit while the bracing cut of blood-orange is vivacious and quenching – all funnelling into a wonderfully intricate, liquorice-and-fennel finish. Bold, extrovert but pretty serious wine. It proved to be a great pair with whole salt-roasted celeriac in a red-pepper-based romesco sauce."
