Picnicking in Barcelona with your canned ROSÉ

Sun, sun and more sun! It should be summer all year round. I can't complain though. Living in Barcelona you get to enjoy an eteeernal summer. When you want to enjoy the beach, it's always close by. And when you want to feel the breeze ruffling your hair... I head to the mountains. Yes, because it's so great to sit among the pine trees and see the city from up high!

And now that the sun is warming up, picnics have become one of my favourite things to do... Yes, yes. And I'm talking about a classic picnic. With a red chequered blanket and a wicker basket with cheese, grapes and... a few cans of my favourite ROSÉ.

If you're reading this and you're also in the mood for a picnic, take a look below and discover some of the best places to have a picnic in Barcelona.

ROSÉ and roses

Parc de Cervantes in the district of Les Corts means a picnic surrounded by roses. Wonderful! A charming, traditional park that was opened in the 1960s and which also boasts some 11,000 rose bushes and more than 245 different species of flowers. Yes! Pinch yourself when you get there and be amazed by the overwhelming scent of flowers. Oh! And don't leave without seeing all the sculptures dotted around! This park deserves a toast with our canned Rosé with bubbles. Bubbles and flowers, a combo I can't resist...

Picnic, skate and ROSÉ

We’re off to the beach! Well, almost. Very close to the sandy beach of Mar Bella is its sports park. Sit on the grass, lay back and watch skaters do impossible moves while enjoying your canned BORN ROSÉ. This is a good place to take a siesta after your picnic and, if you fancy it, go for a nice swim. I highly recommend it!

A classic, Ciutadella park

This park is a true icon of the city. In 1888 it hosted no less than the Barcelona Universal Exposition. Before you spread out your chequered blanket and open your canned BORN ROSÉ, I recommend that you take a leisurely stroll through it. Visit its fountain and enjoy its lake. Very close by is the famous Arc de Triomf. Mandatory photo stop!

Turó Parc, an urban oasis

I always get the same feeling when I walk through its gate. Entering Turó Parc is like entering an oasis where time seems to stand still. Its blossoming trees, its pond, its lush vegetation... The perfect ingredients for my picnic in the heart of the city.
